چکیده: 

In previous papers authors have considered agents as inertia less self driven particles and designed a flocking algorithm. Application of this algorithm to agents with considerable inertial characteristics needs a behavioural Controller. The Controller uses the local information and helps every agent to imitate the desired behaviour as a member of the flocking frame which covers the main issue in this paper. All agents are assumed to possess limited identical influencing/sensing radius. The sliding-mode control technique is used, hence; effect of bounded disturbances and uncertainties can be omitted too. Once inertial agents are equipped with the behavioral Controller, the multi-agent system behaves similar to a group of self-driven inertia-less particles which; coordination control algorithms and cohesion analyses are previously designed for.

چکیده: 

This paper presents a Variable Structure based approach to the load frequency control system problem in electric power generation systems. This approach combines the salient features of both Variable Structure and fuzzy systems to achieve high-performance and robustness. The control signal consists of equivalent control, switching control and fuzzy control components. The influence of system nonlinearities such as generation rate constraint and governor dead band is considered. In addition, a decentralized form of this Controller is applied to a two-area power system. Simulation results show that the system responses are strongly robust for parameter variations.

این مقاله یک روش تخمین پارامتر از مدل­های زمان -پیوسته را برای یک سیستم پارامتر متغیر معرفی می­کند.در روش خطی پارامتر متغیر که برای بیان سیستم­هایی با ماتریس­های فضا-حالت تابع از پارامترهای زمان متغیر است، پایداری و عملکرد سیستم فیدبک تضمین و یک پتانسیل قابل توجه برای بهبود کارایی وجود دارد. دینامیک این نوع سیستم ها به یک پارامتر متغیر با زمان که در این پژوهش سرعت زاویه­ای چرخ عکس العملی در نظر گرفته شده وابستهاست. مقادیر این پارامتر در طول یک بازه زمانی نامعلوم، اما با عملکرد سیستم قابل اندازه­گیری است. با استفاده از تکنیک بهره جدول­ بندی، پایداری سیستم پارامتر متغیر بررسی و پارامتر جدول­بندی برای یک عملکرد از تخمین فاکتورهای موثرکنترلی انتخاب می­شود.شرایط کافی استخراج شده به شرایط نامساوی­ ماتریسی خطی تبدیل می­شوند که می­توانند با الگوریتم محدب حل شوند. با حل این شرایط کنترل­کننده، بهره جدول­بندی شده بدست می آید تا پایداری و عملکرد سیستم پارامتر متغیر را تضمین کند. نتایج شبیه سازی عددی موفقیت آمیز بودن روش پیشنهادی را نشان می دهند.

The body freedom flutter phenomenon is one of the aeroelastic instabilities that occurs due to the coupling of the aeroelastic bending mode of the wing with the short-period mode in the flight dynamics of the aircraft. By using the aeroservoelastic model and applying closed loop control, this phenomenon can be suppressed in the operating conditions of the aircraft and the velocity of this event can be increased. The simplest model aircraft capable of displaying this instability includes the flexible wing and the planar flight dynamics model. For this purpose, the wing Structure is modeled using the Euler-Bernoulli beam and, the theory of minimum Variable state is used to model unstable aerodynamics to make the conditions suitable for modeling the system in state space. In the control section, the elevator is used as the control surface and LQR theory with Kalman filter is used to body freedom flutter suppression. Finally, the effect of adding a closed loop control to increase the body freedom flutter velocity and the limitations of this work are studied.

چکیده: 

Nowadays, the fundamental role of having a purpose for life in physical and mental health has been confirmed. According to victor frankl, presence of a purpose in life gives life a meaning and increases resilience against pains and traumas. The importance of the purpose in life construct reveals the need for a reliable and valid tool to measure it. Crumbaugh and Maholick's purpose in life questionnaire is the first and one of the most applied tools for the assessment of life's purposefulness. The aim of this research is to determine the factor Structure of purpose in life questionnaire. The questionnaire was administered on 206 students who were selected through random stratified sampling at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. Exploratory factor analysis showed that there are two factors "comprehension" and "purpose" and this finding were confirmed by confirmatory factor analysis. Altogether results of this research showed factor validity of the purpose in life questionnaire with a two factor pattern

Scalable High Efficiency Video Coding (SHVC) is the scalable extension of the latest video coding standard H. 265/HEVC. Video rate control algorithm is out of the scope of video coding standards. Appropriate rate control algorithms are designed for various applications to overcome practical constraints such as bandwidth and buffering constraints. In most of the scalable video applications, such as video on demand (VoD) and broadcasting applications, encoded bitstreams with Variable bit rates are preferred to bitstreams with constant bit rates. In Variable bit rate (VBR) applications, the tolerable delay is relatively high. Therefore, we utilize a larger buffer to allow more variations in bitrate to provide smooth and high visual quality of output video. In this paper, we propose a fuzzy video rate Controller appropriate for VBR applications of SHVC. A fuzzy Controller is used for each layer of scalable video to minimize the fluctuation of QP at the frame level while the buffering constraint is obeyed for any number of layers received by a decoder. The proposed rate Controller utilizes the well-known structural similarity index (SSIM) as a quality metric to increase the visual quality of the output video. The proposed rate control algorithm is implemented in HEVC reference software and comprehensive experiments are executed to tune the fuzzy Controllers and also to evaluate the performance of the algorithm. Experimental results show a high performance for the proposed algorithm in terms of rate control, visual quality, and rate-distortion performance.

This work is trying to introduce a fractional order floated pole Controller as a fast and robust approach. We designed a robust Variable Structure control that yields a continuous and constrained control signal, also a fast response in the presence of model uncertainties and external disturbances. In the proposed Controller, we employed the pole placement algorithm, then by designing proper polynomials gave it robust property, then due to a simple optimization routine, we make it fast and faster within the stability region. Finally, to evaluate the proposed method, numerical examples in different situations of the presence of noise, disturbance, and model uncertainties, also comparative results are presented. This paper proposed an accurate, fast, and robust Controller. This can improve the performance of the perturbed functional systems used in the industrial fields. It is proposed to spread the benefit of fractional calculus in the control of complex systems in practical situations.

This paper has proposed a gain-scheduled Controller with stability proof and guaranteed cost for a turboshaft driving a Variable pitch propeller. In order to overcome the complexity of the nonlinear model, a linear parameter varying (LPV) model is proposed for the first time which is in affine form. Proposed model is established based on a family of local linear models and is suitable for LPV gain scheduling methods. Thus a gain scheduled design procedure is proposed which considers parameter dependent Lyapunov matrices to ensure stability and a quadratic cost function for guaranteed performance of the closed loop system. Proposed procedure also has the advantage of considering an upper bound for change rate of the scheduling signal which decreases conservativeness. Controller design problem and calculating its gain matrices is formulated in a set of Linear Matrix Inequalities which easily can be solved using LMILAB toolbox. Simulation results showed the effectiveness and practicality of the proposed procedure.
